INNOVATIVE FUNDING

A one day seminar specifically designed for companies who are already actively; or have ambition to be involved in the production of children’s media content.

This event will explore the challenges and tensions of pulling together funding, offering examples of successful new ways of getting projects off the ground.  This session will enable you to focus on where the opportunities lie, know how to prepare and who to approach and to understand any potential pitfalls.

The themes we’ll address include:

·         Emerging cross platform financing models

·         Opportunities for investment from non broadcaster sources

·         European funds, tax credits and co-production treaties

·         Subsidiary rights exploitation, guarantees, advances

·         The creative hazards of working for multiple funders

·         How to build successful partnerships with licensing companies, and licensees.

·         What is successful, multi-platform brand exploitation?
